“I like a stronger tincture and sometimes uses up to 3 cups”
1 cup honey (or less as desired) 3 cups brandy or vodka (80 or 90 proof)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Add the hawthorn berries to a lidded quart jar.
ALTERNATIVE:
For easy hawthorn tea, steep 1 teaspoon of a dried flowers and/or leaves in 1 cup of water for 20–30 minutes three times a day; add honey to taste.
GINKGO LEAF TINCTURE
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Place the ginkgo leaf in a glass pint jar.
OTHER:
The American Heart Association recommends filling up on colorful fruits, including raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries, which help lower inflammation and strengthen artery walls. Add them to healing oats to up your herbal intake.
